yes Ashley, the super reds have been line bred to bring out the red color but still P. Taeniolatus . super reds are just a brighter shade of red. nice looking empress.

Ashley, yes and no. They sre the same type of fish. Just different breeding from what Vince has told me. They line breed them for the colors. It makes a super red.

soft acid water (pH 6ish to 7), normal temperatures, all the normal foods.

best advice is to get rid of your current substraight and get sand.
