Awesome Kylie i really hope u have a pair there, these fish are way too expensive at the lfs. I'd love to pair mine up, but my compressiceps is 4.5" and my calvus is 4" and anything close to their size costs soo much at the store.

hey robert i was reading about breeding these guys and they say to cut a slit in a terracotta pot big enough for the girl to fit but not the boy .. he has to do his job from outside.. hehehlol

yeh i was gonna try and breed them but to expensive to buy one that is already able to breed so i just got one shells are also good

yeah but alot of return from fry sales if you can get them to breed successfully .. hows those new leps going all well any holding..

yeh there goin good there now swiming in the top half of the tank.
um when i bought them one was holding and i got the bags mixed up so i ended up puting her in the mian tank and she spat straight away and the race wwas on between me and my calvus i got 6 fry. the males are realy startting to colour up now so i think its almost time for a bit
