Red Zebra (alpha male)
Red Zebra (alpha male)
Metriaclima estherae
A pic of my alpha male red zebra and a nearby acei. This red zebra usurped the title of 'tank boss' from the dominant male ps. demasoni in my tank (photo posted earlier) and now 'rules' a tank of 30+ mbuna.

Not overly aggressive but will not permit the other red zebras to interact with each other and will break up any mbuna fights he sees. (kay-bee19)

This one is definately not an albino (my flash made him a little more peach than he really is), but I guess common names for the m. estherae can vary from place to place.
