sorry the heater glass didn't break it stuck on , just thought i'd say it right . now a female red zebra is laying on bottom . going to put her in a open brood tank & put a 300 gal filter on it to up the oxygen.

Had that happen when I first got started keeping cichlids. Fortunately I was home and saw the fish getting stressed so didn't lose any but learned from a longtime hobbyist about the temperature regulators that will shut off and turn on the heaters manually and sound an alarm if the temp gets out of control. My tropheus now have one of those. They're pricey so I don't have them on all the tanks, but maybe eventually. Sorry--I know it bites.
