How close is this to true colouration?
Piscatorial Pastime » posted 2007/03/11 - 10:45
Pretty close, just doesn't show the irredescence of the blue/green facial marking from lips back.As you know they always look better in person,i don't think a photo can justify any fishes true beauty.Well no camera i'll ever be able to afford anyway.

I have not had this Geo before, mistook it for surinamensis. Makes me want a S. American tank.

also, 2 days ago i ordered a 100gallon tank, the dimensions are 60"L x 18"W x 21"T, its really cool, because the tank is not like a normal tank, it is not made of four pieces of glass that are held together by sealent, it is one piece of glass, the edges are round, the whole tank is one piece, and because it has no sealent it will never leak, and the sealent that holds a normal tanks four sides together never needs replaced, because their is no sealent, it has a full lifetime warranty, and is guarenteed to hold twice as much rockwork, the glass of the tank is 7/8" thick, and the glass on the bottom of the tank is 1" thick. i am getting the tank, the stand, and a canopy and light kit for $300.00 so i could not pass it up.

and Brian Tatum, you can use the play sand, it is really clean and sinks with nothing left floating, try to rinse it before using though.
