Have you had any babies?

good looking, healthy pair. they should spawn at around 5" if they are a bonded pair

No babies yet. she's about 3 inches or so and he's.. i dunno about 7 inches. they are definately a pair just guess i gotta wait til she gets a little bigger. but thank you.

Hello all. I'm new to this site, but I have become quite a bit more interested in my cichlids since I became a proud father of 50 Jacks about 3 days ago! Hope to post some pictures soon.

Thanks everyone. While i was at work for week my wife said they were digging pits and laid eggs. when i got home a couple of days ago there wasnt any eggs left od fry and they were on seperate ends of the tank hiding. so i did a water change and re-arranged part of the tank so she has a hiding spot. now she hides there half the time and the other half shes hiding in a cave with him but no breeding. and they seem very skittish now. hardly coming out to eat or to be social. anyone know what might be happening?

I have no idea Jason, but I hope it has something to do with creating offspring. Nice looking pair. I would love to get my hands on some of these fish.
