nice male

You think male? I was fearing that :) LOL females are smaller, and probably more suited to my tank :)
Alex Odesit » posted 2008/03/19 - 15:55
yes, male for sure, and very nice one too. He'l be ok in 75 gal, but will never attain his full size, 90 gal will do.
And watch out for the Cutteri, Loisel may snap one day and kill it, he got al tools for it

Thanks Alex, he's an F1. I dont need him full size :) lol I may need to add some more natural dividers to the tank for territory as they grow, so the smaller guys have places to hide.

Tony, F1 means first generation fry, which means the parents were wild caught.

Frank thanks for clarifying that now it makes sense

Some people use it in a snooty sense, I only mentioned it because I found it appealing to own a fish whos parents were bred in a 10 gal in someones basement :) Nevermind that I plan on breeding fish in MY basemenet ... lol

A+ Loisellei !!

but you are not going to put a 8-10 inch fish in a ten gallon.

True. Do you only have the big Dovii tank? Or do you have others?
