cichlids.com: New Hongi!

New Hongi!

Little guy is hard to get a pic of because he is constantly going up and down in his new environment. Hes kinda dark in color in my tank. Anyone know which hongi this is?? RT,YT,SRT??

the JD is with a jewel and two other american cichlids which i have no clue what they are. not really into the whole american cichlid

Thnkx....Amercan seem to be more Aggressive from what I'm gathering...? Not sure but I have been reading the Pro's and Con's for each type and I seem to like the African as they seem to be more "Relaxed"

i personally dont really like americans even though i have a pair of convicts(the only americans i like) because they get too big, most are aggressive and dont really like their colors

Lol...Big are American's I had Convicts too....A Breeding pair then the dang heater quit on me and within two days both died but the Yellow Labs are doing well with out a heater ....Funny ?

yer its a red top his colours will come out as he finds his place in the tank he will colour up better with females around
