Our newest member of our tank! Was told he's around 2-2 1/2 yrs old and roughly 6-7 inches long.

Welcome to the site!! Looks great! Should be proud too, most EBJDs die pretty young!

Welcome to the site , good looking fish . Don't take this the wrong way but he wouldn't be considered good breeding material gene wise .He has an undesireable mouth shape . His color is great and so is his size . Most ebjd's have mouth deformations , some like this and most with what they call "beak face " . But again he is a greatlooking fish for an ebjd of that size .

What causes the mouth deformities? I've never heard that about ebjds before! No plans to breed this guy though, no room for a set up big enough for that! :) Just gonna look at his color! And was just happy to find one this size! :)
