Thanks karrie! I like yours as well. I'm very new to the africans however and i could use some tips and such. Do you know what type calvus this is. Ink fin is what i thought but i could use a little help on this one

I would say yours is much bigger than mine tang. Mine is not quite 1 inch and yours looks to be what one and a half?

He is beautiful and yes it looks like an inkfin. Calvus are GREAT fish to keep, but be aware that they are sensitive to temp. changes so when you do a water change make sure the temp. of the new water is similar to the tank water. What other fish are in with him?

Great fish , same as mine , They swim round looking grumpy and no one ever bothers mine .

Thanks matt (or marti). He is with a eureka peacock, what i think to be a zebra (very aggressive, about half the size but almost is king of the tank), a maingano, leopard frog pleco, white spotted pleco, sailfin pleco and something else. Will put up picture for id
