Need Help anyone know what this is ?????????

Help I noticed this white almost clear tube hanging from my oscars Anal vent I Think . Is it a kind of worm or something or am i just worrying over nothing ANY help is greatly recieved

very good question i have never had an oscar so i am not sure on that .. i think you can buy worming food for them if need be..

Looks like a males tube. Is it by its self? I think from what I have read that the male has a tube that will protrude towards his tail and the females will go straight down. I only have 1 oscar so I have never noticed this. So don't take this to the bank.

it almost looks like stringy feces. how long has it been there? my oscar has clear feces when i give him new food sometimes.

Well it got to about 2 inches last night and was gone this morning now its back this evening 8pm about 1/4"and a kind of green in colour
