he's definetley good looking, maybe if you had a sit down conversation you know face to fish about his attitude, tell him to work out his issues? it might help

Kylie,
My male OB (and female for that matter) were both nasty and meaner than mean. It didn't matter what size or fish was in with them, they kicked everyones butt. I ended up taking him to the lfs where the guy couldn't believe how nice he looked....gave me tons of live plants and let me pick out any fish and as many fish as I wanted for them....he put them straight in his store show tank....Seen them the other day, and they are ruling his tank and there are 9" bumble bee, huge comps, vens about 8-9" johanni's and that guys rules them all,,,,and he is only about 4.5". I think the OBs are just psycho's. lol

I have a nasty OB as well!
Bright pink and purple - gorgeous.....but mean. Anything not blue - he attacks! He's killed so far:
3 Venustus, a German Red, a tangerine peacock, a lithobates, and he chases my albino eureka and strawberry peacock constantly.
He is the biggest OB I've ever seen (maybe 7") I put up with him because he's so pretty....but I'm growing impatient. The worst thing is.....it couldn't have been prevented - he's in a 210 gallon hap/peacock tank with plenty of rocks for shelter, and plenty of swimming room, and the tank is not overcrowded at all.
He's just plain mean!
He mated with an albino eureka red peacock, and now their is a beautiful baby OB peacock in there (he's actually about 3" now) Orange, pink, purple with a bright blue face.
His dad puts up with him, for now.....
All my blue fish are left alone though (I guess there not seen as a threat)
I have 2 dolphins, a pheniculus, 2 Taiwan Reef, a blue empress and an electric blue ahi - they get out of his way, but are never harassed!
Nasty - but beautiful fish!

After hearing all those stories about OB Peacocks behavior, i hope the lil one that i have doesnt gets like that, I think i will have to sit down talk with him now, while he is young.

When my brother had his peacock tank, his OB's were always the ones getting picked on, so it must depend on what breeds the parents are. I will look through his old pictures and try to see if I can find some pics of them.

He is very cute & colorful, maybe he just wants more attention from you? He's just acting out.
