def getting fungus, you need a good anti biotic, and i would use it with the pimafix, and melafix. Has the fish been scratching?

no carrie she was near death actually, I started her on melafix already(on day 2). and she is actually moving around now instead of lying on the bottom

I just had a 55 gallon tank with a HUGE outbreak of cotton wool disease and fin rot. I used both Melafix (anitbiotic) and Primafix (antifungal) together in the tank along with increasing the salt and also using Doxycycline in the filter. I treated for 7 days and lost a total of 7 fish, but the rest survived. The sore on this one should probably be treated with both antibacterial and antifungal as well since most fish will get a secondary infection once one is going on. Hope this helps, I know how bad it sucks when one of your fish are sick.
