Every time I change the water tank I remove him with my hands because if I use the right equipment he shakes a lot. Since he was small I handle him gently inside the tank and he seems like.

Due the oils on your hands can remove his slime coat and he might get a paristie...

My oscar jumped right out the tank one time and i picked him up and put him right back in. hurt me more than him, he was fine, fish are tuff. :D

not only oils but anything could harm a fish such as soap, sodiums, and various germs we humans are immune to, but it is neat to hold your fish sometimes...

I really did not know of these risks. From now on I will only handled him if I do not have another choice. Thanks to all for tips. I am learning a lot from all of you.
