I have this jewel and have another one it has more green but this one always stays red I heard that this is a breeding colour am I correct

Jewels I have had turn completely red when breeding. There are so many similar species called "jewels". If they are a pair, they should spawin very soon or its not a pair. Make sure they have something to spawn on, like some smooth rocks or a flower pot. If the tank is crowded it could keep them from spawing also.
