The reason being is that it attacks its prey from a tilted position much like that of a hawk. This guy is one of my fave for its unique attitude. ^_^

Thanks guys! Yap, they grow up to 11in max. Mine is a 5incher one, but still it manage to swallow my 2.5in baenschi, good thing he did spit it out and luckily my poor baenschi survived. Since then, I've no problems with him at all.. ^_^
