Yeah....black, with faint grey lines, id naturaral for a mature male crabro. Not color loss at all...

thanks jerry, is it mood caused? at night when he is relaxed (or often during feeding) his yellow will come out, but durring the day, or when more active, this is his color.

Is he dominant in tank. dont know, but it may affect the colour depending on his place in the tank.

hey Steve..good looking Bumble Bee..Isure miss mine..he was about 8.5-9" before he went to the "big fish bowl in the sky"..

i was thinking the same thing Christie but the colour is quite a bit differ
