Maturity has nothing to do with their age. its the same with humans, not everyone is ready at the same time.

Tango, that statement makes no sense. The little one on the left is a small female. The bigger one on the right is the dominate male. They are both mature. She is in her fright pattern. That is why the barring is showing. They fade to this pattern almost instantly when you walk close to the tank.

that comment definatly makes no sense, trophs mature at ~ 1 year, they arent like sa cichlids where they may be breeding earlier then they are supposed to.
