Tang, tell me something. How many different Geophagus could I put in a 75 gal. How many could I put in a 100 gal..

if you mean single species, then it could be anywhere from 6-10 depending on the types. If you get all small gymnogeo species ( the ones that max out @ 4-6") I would say you could keep close to 10 easily in a 75 gal, but then again, I would ask Keith or Brian, cause the seem to know more than me.

Very Nice. I have decided to set up a 30 gallon with dwarfs. I found a source for RO water, as I live in Utah (very hard water)! Gonna happen within a month

Thanks for the comments all,
Jason, If i had the materials to ship, I would offer to ship you a trio of these. They aren't exactly "dwarfs" but really fun to watch. Males grow to around 4-4.25"

Nice offer! I was thinking curviceps. About the same size, and I've heard they are good for beginners for this type of setup. I guess "dwarf" is a subjective term. Going heavily planted.

laetecara curviceps are beautiful if you get the bluegreen variant. or you can go for the designor ( i think that is it) aka the red flag. They are even more specatcular colored.
