Kigoma frontosa (7-stripe frontosa)
Kigoma frontosa (7-stripe frontosa)
Cyphotilapia frontosa
Currently my largest fish at a little over 8" (and still growing), making a rare appearance. Very reclusive and seldom retreats from his cave except during feeding time or when intimidating the other fronts in his vicinity. I don't plan on breeding fronts so I have three different variants in my tank (and this one's the alpha male).

The bold black 'cheek patch' and 7th stripe are what makes the kigoma's different from other frontosa's.

Just wondering because I have five in my 120 gal. All of them are 3 to 4''
and no humps yet. Just hoping they are all not females.
