I carry three strains in my shop; Burundi, Kigoma and Ikola. Most people take the Burundi or Kigoma. They aren't usually willing to lay out $30 for a 1" Ikola.

I heard the 7-stribes frontosas are now called "Cyphotilapia gibberosa"

I've read the opposite in that the 7-stripe variants are the only variants still classified as "frontosa"; the southern 6-striped varieties being reclassified as Gibberosa and the northern 6-striped variants as "species North". In any case they are all awesome fish! I have the 6-stripe variants as well. (kay-bee19)

I have a 7 strip frontosa and I am more and more growing in love with it. I was told at paridise fish store in San Pedro, Ca. that buying this one could not go wrong.
