Matt bought me a new camera for mother's day! What a man! It is a Nikon Coolpix P90 and these are just the first few pics I took with it......still learning the settings :)
ok I suppose :) I have officially lost all of the flavipnnis and meli's...what a bummer! I still cant figure out what happened. My water parameters were great...my best guess is that they were killed off one by one by another fish. It always happened at night and they were eating the day before and then they were half eaten themselves the next day? I also lost my featherfin because the big dummy crammed himself into a crevice and got stuck...I had to pry him out after he "drowned". I am half tempted to give up on that tank at this point :(
Awww that totally blows. It has been a rough road with those guys. I'm sorry to hear it. Don't let it get you discouraged though. You have been wanting to do a ram tank, why not try your hand with those. I really don't think it's anything you did, so don't kick yourself for it.
yeah all are fine....I would like to try my hand at rams, but hear they are not very hardy fish either and right now I can't see losing any more fish...lol. how are all of yours?
I might consider trying one at first, make sure I have their needs understood. Knock on wood, my fish are doing pretty good. Just lost the ob, committed fishicide, and lost one of the taiwanese tigers, haven't got a clue as to why.
I need to get to bed, have a ton of stuff to get done tomorrow. I will catch you later.
Bolivian rams are much more hardier than german blues or golds. i dont do anything special other than make sure there is lots of wood and live plants to keep the ph and hardness down and i give them good food. i say give them a try, you'll love them ;)
