yeah once in a while i give Them Guppies but i dont trust does buggers so i'm trying to breed guppies my self i had 3 females that where pregnant but i went out of town and my dad forgot to feed them and i guees they ate them themselfs.

Yeah that managuensis is quite small for five or six months. I have a male that's about 4 1/2 inches long with much more girth than that. You need to step up his diet with more protein like beef heart, blood or earthworms...etc. That should fatten it up. I like the idea or raising your own feeders. What better way to insure the health of your food stock.
