Cichlasoma urophthalmus

My friend says it is not a pure MAYAN CICHLID because there is a silver ring on its body(this fish has two silver rings,another one is on tail).
Is that true?

thanks everyone. it is my fish.around 6 cm. my tank is standard 4 feet. i put it in 1 foot tank with 2 same fishs temporarily.
