I know Alex but always wanted one ! have made sure only flat rocks on bottom no balance ones heater built in filter so no breakable bits HOPEFULLY! Its only 4ft tank 70 us gallons but getting 130 gallon tank soon . Had him 4hrs and he has already got territory of whole tank i have tried placing female in with big bogwood hiding place but he keeps chasing so will monitor and remove in few days if she gets stressed he is 10" plus and has no fear of my hand LOL

Justin, make a divider, with the holes big enough to let female RD (not male) in and out.
Thats only the safe way I know.

I think your right she has bigish area in bogwood for safety at moment will need to get so plastic and make divider to be sure

yea bud, now you have to realise that the tank is not yours any more. my guys got a whole bout a foot long in my tank. let him dig, keeps them happy.

He is enjoying swimming too as cramped in shop . he is 10" measured . he follows anyone that goes to glass no fear . They also has 13" Jag in Lfs a return funny enough!! i did not see it as out back but thats one step toooo far! LOL

Ryan there was a bigger male that was darker with black bands on top half as well ! He was brought in yesterday but i kept with my original choice . first time i have seen them in shops then 2 at once !!!

hey I have 7 rd in my 150 gallon tank there is 2 sets and they dont really bother the other fish they are all around 6 to 8.5 inchs long

i bought 2 when they were around 3 inches 3 when they were 5in and one around 7inches and the last one was given to me when he was 4inchs long they all are very brave they dont swim away when i walk up

I was surprised when after an hr of being in tank he attacked glass as i showed my other half LOL
