four weeks.

I just stripped my yellow lab tonight. She has been holding way over the 3 weeks.. Then everytime I'd get them off her and I'd turn around, she'd have them sucked back up! Serious seperation issues. (thinking labs just hold them longer from what I can tell from people on this site)

i have a female who holds till they dont fit anymore.. i agree seperation issues..

For some reason labs seem to hold longer sometimes. I know some people on other sites have dicussed this.

you can leave the mom with the fry for a couple of weeks after words, if in a seperate tank, she will realize that she cant suck them up after a few days or so
