not bad at all your very lucky to have all these baby auratus' iv tried breeding mine but my male was much bigger then the females and just chased them around alot so i ended up getting rid of them

They are not killers. They are a more aggressive cichlid, but everyone thinks they kill just to kill. They don't. They are very territorial, and if you don't let them have there own space they will pick on another fish enough that it will die, but they are not cold blooded killers like everyone makes them out to be.

congrats on your fry! i have approx 30 2month old zebras and another 40(approx)1month old lot! now the only prob i have is wat to do with them, i definately am not keeping all of them.

Thanks, all of you. I just let the female let them out when she's ready. Being the females are in breeders and the other fish are in the tank, the females seem to hold a little longer than usual.
