Did your city change some thing with your water? i had it happen to my friend the whole city changed some chemical levels and it killed about 80% of his fish, have you been doing any water changes or any thing like that?

How about some airstones to raise the oxygen level...what is that container it is in ???

Still looks like oxygen deprevation...i'd put an airstone in there and try it

i don't have any airstones? i have something in there for bubbles thoe

do you have an extra hob pump? more water movement will add O2
michael gilchrist » posted 2008/05/27 - 20:39
yeah i can try that
michael gilchrist » posted 2008/05/27 - 20:48
i took him out of there and put him in my fry tank with a lot more filteration and O2

Airstones help push the water up from the bottom...make the water churn for a while
Jerry Goebert » posted 2008/05/27 - 20:56
Hopefully that'll help...disease is hard to diagnose

I'm no expert like you lot but have you tried a knotted airline with holes pricked in with a needle? it gives a sort of airstone effect. I hope he recovers for you Michael good luck.

hey Michael , I don't want to sound like the bad guy but I had a fish with similar circumstances... I nursed him back to upright and swimming pretty good and I thought all was good ... he died after about a month .. I have no Idea what happened since I was all excited that he made a miraculous recovery ... just thought iI would throw that out there .. btw , my fish was a juvie .. Scott
