How big is that fish? like 4-6 in? Can't tell from the pic. If it is that big, how long did it take to grow?

He's about 7"Took almost 2 years for him to get to that size.

Sweet! I have a GT. too, but he's only 2.5 in. but I hope I can get him at least 6 in.

I got him when he was a little over that size and he just kept on growing.

What did you feed him? I've been feeding mine tetra cihlid, and some dried shrimp mostly, and simulina pellets too and he's grown quite a bit since I got him which was only like in the end of August.

i fed him hikari cichlid gold and occaisional meal worms and feeders.

Does he have any aggression towards his tank mates? If he has any, what are they? I'm just curious because I want to know what will be compatible with him when I'm done making my tank. I want some thing not to big, but can you know defend it's self. I try to stay away from convicts though. I don't really like them very much, I've had some bad experiences with them.

Mine gets along with my Wild severum pretty good.i've also tried him with Africans and the reactions the same.But any way,he's not very mean,but he accepts any chalanges from his tankmates.
