In the 20months I've had him, he's grown from about 1.5" to slightly over 8". He still has a few more inches to go before he maxes out.

this is one of the most finest fish, its a male venustus, and its just absolutly amazing! Its a nice fish all around, and theres no ugly about it!

Here it is Joel. I did notice that Kay Bee but his other features are the most impressive I have seen on a male Venustus.

Matthew, no it's not crossed with anything, he's just displaying dominant colors (in which the characteristic venustus 'camouflage' pattern is completely morphed into a solid yellow-green sheen). With no rivals in the tank he's appears like this full time. When frightned or kept with more aggressive fish, mature males will revert to or retain the blotched scheme.
