See the middle box, that's for the 10 gal. He put in on rollers so I can slide it out to clean. I think he did a great job. We are staining later tonite.

awesome job !! is the weight of the 10 gonna be to much for the rollers? when it is in the out position ? What color stain ?

No he made pretty sturdy plus remember it will have the weight of a 110 gallon on top! Staining a redish pecan, to match to 10foot built inentertainment center he made last summer.

Hey Steve all I pay for labor is taking out the occasional rye and coke!

Michelle, I work in furniture and most rollers have a hard time w/ weight. I don't doubt his abilities, but hope all goes well when slid out for maintenance. that 10g with water, gravel, and decor. will weigh somewhere around 100 pounds. Looks great! Bet the ol' boy is pretty smart, he probably already anticipated all this!

Veeeeery nice stand Michelle! Its been a while since I've had a rye and coke myself, it was one of my favorites too.

GOtta drink something to keep ya warm.

I agree with the roller theory. A 110 gallon tank is a lot of stress on those rollers as well as whatever is used to mount them. You might rethink that before you end up with a 110 in the floor.

shawn, it's just the 10g on roller, right Michelle?

WOW Extremely impressive! Alan did a fantastic job. Will you contract him out? lol. I need one built for my 130, or buy one. Can't wait to see it stained now.

Yeah only the 10 gal on rollers and actually the roller as a set was rated for 150 lbs. So we're good but thanks.
