well, then they took allot from the Mayan part, I had them numerious of times and just cameback from Mexico where I saw them in native for them environment, yours look identical.

that's pretty sick that you got to see them in their natural habitat, I wish I could do that

just do your next vacation in Mexico, Rivera Maya, plenty of great hotels to stay, all over the Carribean see coast, and many fresh or brackish water cenotes around to see numerious of native to Mexica cichlids.
