well i see your problem right now with the eggs getting eaten.. Pleco's tend to eat fish eggs ( correct me if I am wrong) and it has happened to me a few times. That is why I LOVE the shellies, pleco's cannot get into the shells to get the eggs.

I know they are always chasing him away though and nipping at him-u still think he may be eating them?
