Please help Identify me.

I was sold as an elongatus but i don
t think thats what i am. The females are a lighter blue with same vertical/horizontal stripes.

Looks to be fairly small and if that's the case then it's a Melanochromis cyaneorhabdos (comonly known as electric blue johanni) and it could be either a male or a female. You'll just have to wait and see. They look very alike and a subdominate male may stay lighter blue. Signs to look for as it grows though are fin shape. The anal fin on males is more pointed and females are more rounded. However don't go by egg spots because some females will get them too.

This pic makes the fish look small, it's actually just slightly smaller then the males.
It was also holding at the pet store and spit the eggs on the ride home.
