Please help Identify me.

I was sold as an elongatus but i don
t think thats what i am. The females are a lighter blue with same vertical/horizontal stripes.

Definately not a zebra of any type. It's a Melanochromis species of some sort. Neither the maingano or johanni should have yellow-tinged fins. Good strains (which may be hard to find) lack verticle striping as well.(kay-bee19)

I just baught a male electric blue johanni and it is the meanist in the tank it is a 29 gallon with four females

the picture above is a male but all the ones that are blue are also males the females are yellow with black stripes
