Oh no... I hope mine are the same sex. Took mom convict away from her new babies today. She has to get traded with her older babies too many convicts.

my JD, Cuban and surprising Blue Botia keep Convicts and they offspring in check.
Another week or so and wont be no more babies

Blue man is evil when protecting babies. I didn't want him tearing up any of my fish. For a little one he is tough, killed the other large male. They were buddies before the famale came.

Who did you hear that from?
Alex Odesit » posted 2008/01/29 - 04:24
from you? Does your hubby have a red belly tank?
Joe & Christie » posted 2008/01/29 - 04:28

And will love Convict fry!

They wont eat the convicts either. There are at least 5 in there with the Pirahnia. They are in every tank, even tried to see if the fronts wanted some. So much for all of our "killer fish".. Joe should be able to trade them for some live rock, guy has some nice stuff with bunched of "things" on them. It will take him hours to catch them all.

Mike is my homeboy (NJ baby), he wont mind..

Christie, keep your fish hungry, do not overfeed and they'll take on Convict fry at no time.
Keep Red belly's and other 48 hours with no food, you'll see. This diet wont hurt any of adult fish. Trust me

I need to stop feeding them like babies. I do trust you. Did you see Greenie? He Keeps hiding when I come to the tank :( I think he is afraid I am going to move him again.
Alex Odesit » posted 2008/01/29 - 05:02
prolly just stress out from all these moves. Let him adjust and stay there for awhile. He don't know you mean no harm.

I will, he is my buddy, don't want him to hate me...
