Demasoni fry

These fry were born a few days ago. There are about 20 of them (couldn't capture them all in one shot) and are actually the consolidation of separate broods born a day apart (from two mouthbrooding mothers). 8-10mm in length.

I had two broods about 3 weeks ago. made the mistake of putting the first one in my growout tank...it was a buffet. I have since sold the larger Juvies out of the growout. I got about 10-12 per brood. Nice shiny fry.

These are some of my most prolific mbuna's so I don't retain a lot of them. The day I returned the mothers back into the main tank, I noticed 3 other demasoni mouthbrooding. These fry are small enough to be eaten by 1" juvies.

None like these yet, just convicts. Can't stop them. Can't wait to watch some mouthbrooders.

I really enjoy you all very much. Thanks for being there. My wife says she is glad I found this site,it has reduced my depression a lot. Gives me something to do with my time.

Roger, I am glad to hear that. -------------------------------------- Man also try Gold Backardi (double shot, no ice) with olives and tomato juice on the side, it help me reduce my stress big time:)
