Thanks for all the input on his white blaze - after looking at other S. Fryeri's, I suspect it is a blaze and not an injury, but I will keep an eye on him in any case.

Thanks - I am new to cichlids and didn't know if there was some disease where the scales come off or something. It is very likey that he scraped it as they had a big move last week and have been a bit skittish

Christina if it is a white streak it is called a blaze. It is common in some S.

might be a scrap could be that ob peacock you have to , they can be nasty..
