is this a blue ahli or a fyeri? my male fyeri died on me last weekend when I did my water change =(. but at least I still have my male electric blue.. awesome colors though!

lol to be honest with you Shannon I think they're both the same fish, but sometimes people call it a blue ahli or a fyeri! beats the hell outta me =P

beautiful electric blue bip he is super blue.. sciaenochromis fryeri also hap ahli, hap electric blue.. so many names.. heheh

Oh ok, thanks for the clarification, because i have a blue Ahli also, and i also have 3 females but he havent made move on them yet, so i was wondering if that was because they Ahli/Fyeri...only time will tell

WOW what a beauty!! When they have that sharp Blue color like he/she does then it is very comfortable in your aquarium... what kind of filter do you have? AND did u take a look at the link yet.. GOT WORK SO I wont be on soo long this afternoon but tonite i will... BYE

Nice fryeri bip, I miss mine. btw to further the discussion up the page a little, fryeri=ahli. Ahli is an older "trade" name for this fish.
