he/she is about 3 inches. Really hoping it will be a male to get that awsome hump. but if not it is still a very interesting fish to watch.

wow johnathan awesome love these guys ..i have 4 .. very hard to sex.. they look the same except male gets bigger and a bigger hump. they mate for life too.. i agree such awesome fish really are one of favs, so much fun to watch them hop about..

based purely on the color and size and fins, i would lean towards female. The males I have seen are very blue, long pointed fins, and a more blunt face( yours seems to have a slanted face like a comp/calvus.) how long have you had it? taht could also help in sexing.

I've had it for about 6-8 months now maybe. beginning of the year for sure though.
