Hey I jus recently got a poly palmas and i was wondering if anyone were to know about where I can get reliable information about them and the different species. i jus foundthis website that says there are like 25 diffetent kinds and I want to know more about them. if anyone knows where i can go or if anyone knows themselves let me know thanks alot. :)

Justin, it took me a little bit of time, but go to ask.com and type in Polypterus, or even google that name. A couple things popped up for me (on ask.com), there is even a website 'dedicated' to birchirs and ropefish. Hope it helps.

i have several of these, they are Polypterus Senegalis, aka dino bichirs, google those to names, and you'll get all the info you need.
