I have heard from the breeding that they dont live to long there a very weak fish from excessive inbreeding pretty much and there just not to hardy of a fish. i absolutly (cant spell sorry) Love them and would someday like to try to raise my own so i hope u the best with it and i hope it all does well

In the aspect there have been many posted on here even and later had a RIP. Not sure why as I never had one but they don't seem to last long.
I truly hope you are the exception and you get to enjoy yours for a long time :)
I hope he does fine. i got him from a very reputable breeder. but i guess we'll see in time. hes roomed up with some festea and a convict. and holds his own.
Jason these guys are the runts of the litter so to speak. what some people do is to zap them with radiation to bring out the colors. What this does is age them prematurely that is why the short life span. What they are doing now is to pair a regular JD with an EBJD to strengthen the breed.Hope to see when it gets bigger
