Hi Bip....work is going good tonight (overtime tonight). I wanted to work ont he tank last night but I can't really turn down the extra money so here I am. I am totally bummed because The lady wrote back to me about the fish I ordered and said she couldn't sell me the goby cichlids right now because she just added a new shipment to the tank and had to quarentine them for now. She is still bringing the pearly occi's and the paracyps but I was really looking forward to those gobys :( How are you tonight?
Cool extra dough! That is a bummer about the gobys. You will still eventually get them though, right? I'm excited about teh paracyps. I'm doing ok. Have a bit of a prob going on here. I'll have to email you about that, I just won't be able to email tonight. How is the tank coming along, clearing any? Were you able to put polishing pads in the filter?
The tank is crystal clear today without doing a thing...apparently it just required time :) I will get the goby's eventually. E-mail me when you can about you problem. K- I need your opinion then....I found those fish on 2 websites (E. melanogenys Ndole). They are on aquabid for $85 for 6 of them plus shipping (dont know how much that is). I also found them on bluechip.com for $8 a piece which is great but the shipping is $75 air cargo. That website also has the goby's and zambia occi's that I could order there. Do you think it is worth it with that shipping rate?
Awesome that it's crystal clear. That's what I was hoping for. I would send the person on aquabid an email and ask how much for shipping. At the same time email bluechip and ask if they would put all the fish in one box to keep shipping costs down and also if they give a discount for a somewhat large order like that. If the price is right on bluechip for all of the fish and shipping is $75 total, I would say it's worth it. Most places/people ship anywhere from $35-$80.
Yeah, sent an e-mail to aquabid (no response yet). Already got a response from bluechip and they said that my order is a very small order and it would be $75 for up to 100 pounds. You think that is a good deal then?
If you can get all those fish in one shipment for the $75 and the price is good per fish, yeah I think it's a good deal. I would also find out about their 'doa' policy and such. If they are a good business, I have heard a lot of them throw in extras in case some don't make it.
morning ladies . marti i would go with the air cargo from blue chip . lots faster and less stres on fish . and most places usually throw in an extra , i know i got 2 extra flavus each time i ordered them . good luck . bummer about the goby though
ahhhhhh yeah actually theres 2 i would love to have , the parrot and the port acaras . didnt list any prices though i'm sure the parrot will be over $100. would love them but no room now lol . search is on for another cheap monster tank i guess!

Thanks for the link. When I copy and paste it to a new tab, click enter, the site flashes up then completely closes me out of everything I have open. Going to do a quick search on my end.
Tang O do you know if these are natural or man bred
