i have one on one of my 55gal and it works alright. you might want something a little stronger for a bigger tank.

Josh i was gonna be getting one for my fourty gallon and my 50 gallon but im gonna be running a whisper 30 with each(yes i know there not the best but i have them and might as well use them)

what size tank are you wanting to use it on?

LOL...Looks a little big for a tank but hey what can I tell from a pic...They always add on 10 lbs they say...lol...Good luck with the filter set up ;)

should work ok with those tanks. the extra filtration from the whisper will help. i use a 1200lt internal power filter along side mine and it does the trick. i have the 350 with the bio wheel attachment on my tank.

Nice Karrie im using one on a 40 gallon and a 55 gallon with an extra filter on each.

Josh thanks are you happy with the way it works or you think it could do better? Is there any complaints with it?

i'm happy with it for the most part. it's pretty low maintenance. i never had a problem with it, so i have no complaints
