SUNSHINE PEACOCK......

Thanks Michael. I'm not sure about sunshine though. This pic is not dark, that is actually how the fish looked. He has a black face with very little blue sheen in the right light. All the darker areas of the fish are black. He was small so that could be why no other colors were coming through yet.

Yeah A sunshine would be great. I so wish he would have made it. He didn't last very long though. He was the only one like him in the mixed tank. Getting ready to go get his replacement(s) in a little while.

The black in the face is due to stress, it will turn blue. I am not saying what it is. GM says I can't ID mine.. she will delete them.

TY Roger, it could very well have been stress that caused him to look so dark. Didn't think of that. I don't mind if you take a stab at trying to ID him for me.

My big rubin red that I posted yesterday. Gets a black face when stressed. It goes back to normal.

It's Ok Roger. I'm not entirely sure what happened. One minute he was swimming around just fine, I went to do something and a little while later came back to tank to see him upside down in a plant. Put him by himself, but he just didn't make it. Maybe too much stress.
