very nice tank and fish.. just a suggestion, the xenos and enat.'s would prefer next to no structures. I am sure they are fine for now, and as I said, very good job with it =)
Hey Marti! How are you? Yeah it has been a little bit, hasn't it. I'm doing ok. Things are hopefully getting back to 'normal' around here. Got majority of the work done outside, time to hit the inside, lol. Spring cleaning.. lots of fun huh?
Tank is doing great as far as I can tell. I want to add a little more of the black sand in there. I might do that next tank cleaning. Got two new fish for it, pretty ones of course, lol. Went against my own rule though, they are Walmart fish, couldn't resist them though. I haven't posted pics of them yet though. How's work going? A bit busy? This usually seems to be your busier night.
not too much, but I am team lead which by nature means I have less time to be on the computer...lol. So I lost 2 flavipinnis last week, no reasons, no apparent illness...just dead. I am totally bummed about the whole thing. I have 3 meli's left and 4 flavipinnis and they had all better be prepared to live long healthy lives or else...lol
Aww crap, that totally sucks. I hate not knowing why. At least with knowing you stand a better chance of keeping the others healthy and alive. I'm still hoping you have males and females that will breed. Sorry you lost the ones you did :(
me too...I guess since they were so little they were at higher risk??? Anyway I will continue to hope that they will breed someday :) I have been looking for another tank, but no luck so far. I think I want 75-90 gallons so I will just be patient :)
That is a possibility, them being so little. I hope that's the end of the deaths.
Lol, another tank. That's awesome. What fish are you going to want to put in there?
Wow that's an awesome size for rams. No other ideas for tankmates yet? Once upon a time I wanted a salt tank too. I am quite happy with cichlids though. A lot of color and personality. I'm like you also, I wouldn't know where to begin with salt and how to take care and maintain the tank. But I guess it's like all things though, you learn.
hehe I guess I should have clarified....The guys from the 30 would go into the bigger tank (the sandsifters especially) and then this would be the ram tank :)
Great blue.
