Just have a male brevis and a male pearly occelatus in here right now because they killed 2 of the new Enantiopus meli's the first night

This looks really cute and cozy for them. Stinks they had to take out two of the others :( Hope the other 4 will be fine now.

that really sucks, but it also shows why the sand sifters should be in a species tank (or with cyps)

Tang O' most places I read about them said that shellies would be fine with them so now I know better.....they are still in with two female occi's and a female brevis who leave them alone. My intention is to take them out and put them with the males, but I am nervous about stressing the new ones too much. On a brighter note, all 6 of the flavipinnis are fine and are really incredible little fish and the 4 remaining meli's are doing great and eating like pigs :)

thats good. I know you will keep a closer eye now on them. I was actually suprised with my old group of paracyps, the large one bullied the others to jump out of the tank (which i thought maybe the calvus were chasing them at night.)
Could you possibably get a pic of the flavi's?
